how to mesh this structure

hi there , i have a question that is which kind of mesh is suitable for such a geometry that is attached.
mapped or free triangular ?
and what is difference between these two ?

any help would be appreciated .

I have used triangular mesh several times and it works very well. I would say the resolution is more important than the type. Just make sue that you have added the 'size' node and have changed the narrow area resolution to a reasonable value.
