Simulation of welding

Hello,

I'm new here. I'm sorry for my english.
I'm ending my school I have to write thesis. Thopic of my work is Analysis of the distribution of heat during welding.I am researching steel using thermal imaging and then check my result in COMSOL.

I read topic about
I'm writing to you because I have problem. I want to simulate arc welding where heat source is moving. It's not have to be circle. I need simulate welding in straight line.
I have two problems:
1) Lap joint
2) T-joint
Can you help me?

There are of course many other aspects of welding simulation, depending on the purpose. If you make a search for "welding" on our website, you will get a number of hits.
