Modeling of Mass,Spring and Damper system

HI all,

i would like to ask How could i to make modeling of mass,spring and damper system ??

i attached a photo to discribe what i mean

Hi

there are several ways around:
1) the mathematical one: write out the PDEs compare to the COMSOL internal coefficient PDE and adapt the different parameters, define your domain 1D probably draw a line from 0 to 1, and off you go :)

2) replace the spring k by a simple 1D beam/bar compression spring, add the damping and solve as a simple strutural case
