body load, weight with depth, ymax

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi guys,

I am going to calculate the body load in a variably saturated slip soil.
at each point I need the weight of the mass above it. therefore I need to say >
rho*g*(ymax-y)
because the y is calculated from the base to top.
rho is also changing along the depth.
1)I dont know how to introduce ymax to the system.
I tried with y_max and etc but system doesnt know it.

2)if I do rho*g*(ymax-y), how to write the density in a way that system sum up all differnt densities above that point which is also not constant?

could anyone help me?
bests,
Shirin
