wave equation singularities at the source point

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

Does anyone has an idea about where that could come from ? When i run a basic 2d wave propagation with a center source a lot of "singularities" appears in the form of peaks everywhere near the source point. I tried to change everything: units, values, materials, mesh, solver step times, bc, sources (point, line, surface) ... but nothing has cleared this problem.

Any idea ?

Thank you,
Irene
