Error while calculating Electric Field

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello All,

Please help me regarding electric field calculation (es.normE).

I have two comsol models with triangular tip height of 1micrometer and 7micrometer (as i have attached both files).

Note: Slope of both triangular tip is same.

Potential of 5V is applied on boundaries 6,7 and 11. Boundary 2 is grounded.

While calculating field (es.normE), it shows more magnitude at every point in 1micrometer as compared to 7micrometer. Please suggest me the reason behind it, if it is so.
As per my concern, logically, electric field should be more in 7micron model than 1 micron.
