Translational Motion in Heat Transfer

Hi Comsol experts,

I'm trying to simulate a laser beam pointing at a rotating sphere. I used "Translational Motion" under "Solid 1". I can see the trace of laser, however, I can't see the motion of the sphere. In order to see if the sphere is actually rotating, I dig a hole on the sphere and then run the simulation. I can still see the trace, but the hole isn't moving. I can't figure out what is going on.

According to users' manual, "translational motion" is in material frame by default, whereas laser beam isn't described. I'm confused by the result and the frames Comsol uses. I've read the parts where the manual describes frames used in ht and ale&dg.

Thanks!
