Nodes, grid points, & Cut point 3D

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I ll be grateful if someone can answer my four very simple questions,

First, how can I find out the number of nodal points in a model, distance between nodes, and also size of a node

Second, are grid points or coordinates (i.e. x,y.z) the same as nodes?

Third, how can I use Cut point 3D to define a small area. Do I use a Regular Grid? Its not very clear how to use it. Also is there a way or reducing size of the "RED" blob that represents a Cut Point 3D point?

Finally, I cant seem to use the Average function under Data Sets to compute the average of another Data set (i.e. Cut Point 3D with several points).

Thank you
