Is it possible to combine structural mechanics model with detailed optical modeling (such as ray tracing)?

Hi Seldon, this is now possible with the new Ray Optics Module, released with V5.0:

The thermal lensing model:
www.comsol.com/model/thermal-lensing-in-high-power-laser-focusing-systems-19955
and Michelson Interferometer model:
www.comsol.com/model/michelson-interferometer-19735

may be of particular interest.
