Beam and solid connection

Dear experts,
We are struggling with a model of a bicycle wheel. When the model is computed is doesn't converge. To model the wheel the spokes are constructed with lines and specified as beams. The hub and the rim are solids. The goal of the model is to find a optimal design for the spokes. Unfortunately our model is not converging correctly using a simple load and fixed constraints. We think the issue is related to the connection between the solid and the beam (we've also tried trusses). Is somebody familiar with this problem and able to help us? Our model is attached.
Kind regards,
Luuk
