Why is the loss in unit "rad/m" when asking for emw.dampzdB

Hi,

I am looking to extract loss for different values of the effective refractive index for a waveguide. COMSOL seems to spit out the results in rad/m. What does this mean? And, how can I extract loss in dB/m?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Bartlomiej

I made a mistake in the title. The data was extracted via ewfd.dampzdB.
