Switching between Electrodes and Floating them

Dear Community members,
I want to switch between electrodes and make them floating with respect to time. When I use step function along with analytic function, the voltage at the electrodes drop to zero instead of floating. I want the electrode to be floating after certain time. Looking for your support in this regard.
