Acoustics: Absorption angle dependent in Ray-tracing

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all, I come here with a question about acoustics in the Ray-tracing module.

The absorption of walls is angle dependent, and I’d like to integrate this in my models. I made an absorption table for third octaves frequencies for incident rays from 0° to 10°; from 10° to 20°; ……. ; and from 80° to 90°.

I would like to implement these tables into my ray-acoustic model so that depending on the angle of incidents the correct absorption is applied to the ray.

Does somebody know if this is possible to achieve? I know some things are possible with rac.nix, rac niy.

Thank you in advance!
