Hi
In which version are you ? in 3.5 there is an issue with sqrt() of units or units in fractional power, partly (only) solved in v4.
To override the unit warning you can make them "unitless" first before you call the value in a formula with fractional powers.
Orange unit warning issues does not change the results, provided your values are coherent (then the user is 100% responsible for the units check, that all the difference) so the results should be valid

Thank you for the response.
I am using version 4.0, so I guess it should recognise the units. However, you are right orange unit warning issues does not change the results. I checked the results and they are indeed correct, so I will just make them 'unitless.'

Hi,
I am also trying to determine SIF for 3D geometry (see attached model). The idea is to compare the line (1D), surface (2D) and volume (3D) J-integral methods. But my results do not seem to be consistent so far. Any ideas s to why????
I have used the contour equation:- 2*((solid.Ws)+(-((solid.sx+solid.sxy)*uX*Nx+(solid.sxy+solid.sy)*vX*Ny))) for all cases only difference is the type of integral and edges, boundary, and domains used in derrived value node respectively.

I am new with comsol and use comsol 5.0. I am trying to model the cracks at concrete beam. I believe you have solved the problem with your previous crack model, So could you please share me how to model the crack with comsol in detail explanation.
