Dear User,
Using comsoI,I am trying to model laser welding of dissimilar materials while the work-piece is moving with constant speed beneath the laser nozzle.Unfortunately,it seems,I have roughly the same problem you had to define the heat source.(In my case I am looking to define a volumetric Gaussian heat source as I think the heat source should be w/m^3.
Now i just was wondering if you could kindly let me know how did you define the heat source in your case or if you have any idea.
Thanks for your taking time to read my email,
Kindly Regards
Reza
