I'm more or less new to COMSOL and I have the following question:
I have to solve a series of problems where one part is always the same and the other is varying:
It's an induction/heating problem, where the coil is always the same, but the heated element can change (some geometrical properties like size, etc.). So, my idea, in order to save time was to make a mesh for the coil and keep that constant, and then making a mesh for the rest as needed.
I couldn't figure a method neither for 3D nor 2D; I've tried making 2 rectangles enclosing every part, but it turns out that I have to calculate the mesh again if I touch anything. For simple geometries is not that time-consuming, but the idea is eventually evolve to more complex problems.
