Rosenthal modelling in COMSOL

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I would like to use Comsol in order to reproduce the results from the rosenthal model and evauntally expand on that. Currrently the curve that Comsol is porducing is not very close to the numerical ansawer rosenthals model yields. I am researching a unique alloy and Rosenthal's equations call for thermal diffusivity as a variable. I have the thermal diffusivity for my material and that's how i am able to produce rosenthal results but when i edit properties for a blank material in COMSOL there is no option for thermal diffusivitiy. What does this mean? AM i on the right track to achieving my goal? Any help appreciated.
