frequency analysis of a magnetostrictive material

Hi,
I'd like to do a frequency analysis of a magnetostrictive material by modulating a coefficient of the elasticity matrix.
How can I do that?
Or more general, simulate a frequency analysis of a harmonically changing material parameter.
There may also be a better way to do this simulation.
