How to create a mesh in nanolevel layer of a structural material i am analysing?

You can try different options for mesh formation. You can start with Physics-controlled mesh from sequence type and then choose Normal element size. If you are not satisfied with your results, then you can choose the element size to be finer.

If none of them works then you can manually define your mesh by selecting user-defined mesh under sequence type. This will require some knowledge on mesh creation, following the documentation will be helpful.
