multi-turn coil modeled by edge current: solver error

Hello,

I have a 3D multi-turn coil that I have modeled as lines in COMSOL and meshed successfully. When I compute the static magnetic fields, I get the following error: "input/output error". Does anyone know what that could mean? Also, I realized that when I give the coil an edge current, it does not specify a direction. How do I do so?
