contact pair with an intermediate domain

I cannot manage make a contact pair working properly. I found somewhere on the forum that there should be no other domains in between. Is that right? Nevertheless I have model of a tube that is pressed from one side (a solid hyperelastic domain deforms - this is ok :) ). The other side is fixed. There is a contact pair and contact constraint between those walls, but they can cross is each other anyway. How can I solve this problem. It would be extremely tedious and time to find the exact force value to close the tube cross-section manual by trial and error. Hence I want to press the right tube boundary against the left but not let it pass through each other. I don't want to use prescribed displacement in that direction as it does not reflects the behaviour of the material. Do you have any suggestion?
I attach the model.
Thanks a lot
