How to obtain solution in a selected domain?

Hi,

I am working on simulating a porous element with gas channels. I have obtained solutions for this geometry. Now, I'd like to extract solutions (actually surface velocity values) in the regions not including the gas channels. I am unable to select specific domains in the data set options. I tried creating an object selection in the geometry, but that wasn't of any help.

Could anyone help me with this problem?
