Electrophoretic transport, Transient study error.

I wish to understand what does such an error imply?

  • Feature: Time-Dependent Solver 1 (sol1/t1) Failed to find consistent initial values. COMSOL assertion failure. Last time step is not converged.

I am trying to simulate 1D simulation with 2 step study (1st - Current distribution initialization; 2nd Time dependent), It is available by default for various electrophoretic simulations (physics mode - Electrophoretic Transport). I have tried varying mesh element size and user defined tolerance but problem still persists.

Any possible advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Best Adi
