Lumped Battery Model for every batterycell?

Hello,

i am modelling a batterypack with several batterycells and want to know if I need a lumped battery for each of the cells or if there is the possibiliy to add just one lumped-battery(reducing effort?!) to my model? Is anyone experienced in that and can tell me the right way to do it?
