To connect COMSOL and MATLAB, you'll need the LiveLink for MATLAB: www.comsol.com/products/livelink-matlab/

when I downloaded COMSOL 4.2a, with it came together another application "COMSOL 4.2a with MATLAB" , but when I click there it open like a comand line (where I cant write anything), and the comsol or matlab are not automatically opened.....
also I tried to open matlab and comsol after, but nothing appeared on that "comand line".. sounds like it does not fit for anything.....

Hi
check the instalation doc, you need matlab already installed, and define the link to matlab during the COMSOL install, the first time you open the link you are requested for your user name and pasword, to get the link up working, as it loops around a "pseudo" network link to communicate between the two programmes

Good luck
Ivar
