Dielectric Interface Boundary

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all, I have a 3D electromagnetic waves frequency domain model where I am only concerned about the solution inside a silicon slab surrounded by air. including a sufficient air cushion in my model such that the field goes to zero at the boundary drastically increases the size and run time of the model. Is there a boundary condition I can apply directly to the silicon to simulate this dielectic interface? If not, is there another solution to this problem?
