Thin structure for Thermoelectric Effect Study

I am modelling a thin structure (thin block with height ~1um) on top of three blocks with different materials (height ~10mm). It seems that I cannot define the thin block properly to get the correct result (the result I got now does not make sense)
I tried the Thin Layer Technique as stated in "Modeling Heat Transfer in Thin Layers with COMSOL Multiphysics®" but it seems that does not solve my problem. Could anyone indicate where I might need to look into?
Ps: for initial condition, I will have a fixed heat flux on top of the thin block and a fixed temperature at the bottom of the long blocks.
