Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,

I am new to comsol. !

I am using comsol 6.0 and I am a student.

Could someone help me to make a simple acoustic model ?

I want to simulate the reflection coefficient of wall2 as attached picture.

Dear Han Nguyen,

For modeling reflection/transmission coefficients, it is useful to apply a background pressure field as the excitation. Then, the scattered field can be separated from the incident field. You can see this example in the COMSOL gallery (https://www.comsol.com/model/acoustic-transmission-loss-through-periodic-elastic-structures-1974) for how this is done.

Best,

Mark
