How to add parallel light source to radiative heat transfer model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I simulated the conductive and radiative coupled heat transfer process when the sample was heated by laser (parallel light source) in a closed cavity. Surface-to-surface radiation was adopted, and the laser incident through a hole in the cavity boundary. I tried the Prescribed Radiosity in the surface-to-surface radiation interface, but I found that it could only set the diffuse emission light source instead of parallel light. How should I set the boundary conditions of the parallel light source? Or do I need to use The Radiation in Absorbing-Scattering Media Interface or The Ray Heating Interface? Best regards Shuai Wang
