How to define FBG in Axial symmetry RF module?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to model a broadband source passing through a FBG written in the core of a single mode fiber. The period of the FBG is 527.8e-9m, and the FBG is 0.01m long. Could anyone tell me how to define the refractive index change in the fiber core domain at the subdomain setting page in RF module. The refractive change is something like this: n(z)=n_core+delta_n*(G0+G1*cos(2*pi/period*z)+G2*cos(4*pi/period*z). n_core is the refractive index in the core; delta_n is the maximum index variation; period means grating period here, and z is the transmission direction.
Thanks!
