Metasurface Beam Deflector - Postprocessing to find angle of deflection

I am working with iterations of a simulation very similar to Metasurface Beam Deflector (ID: 115971) in the Application Gallery, where incident light is arriving parallel to the positive z-axis and is deflected at an angle along the xz-plane.

For postprocessing, I am seeking the expected deflection angle relative to incident light. How would I determine this accurately using my simulation results such as S-parameters and propagation constants?
