hello

I'm currently doing a Eigenfrequency Prestressed study of the system (attached is the Mph file)

I want to find out Elastic Strain Energy Density of 10 mode shapes( attached is a image of the equation)

does Comsol provide Elastic Strain Energy Density or do i need to manually do a volume intergal?

thank you!

Note also that since the amplitude of the eigenmodes is arbitrary, so is the strain energy density. The modal values of the strain energy are only meaningful when set in relation to modal kinetic energy.

The spatial distribution of strain energy density is can still have meaning, though.
