How to define Function in Definitions / Variables.

I'm currently working on electrical simulation using AC/DC module. I define nonlinear electric conductivity for zinc oxide material using following function(ZnO) in subdomain settings, but it shown syntax error while defining the function.

sigma0_FDM*exp(ec.normE/Eb_FDM)

where
FDM- Field Dependent Material.

Hi

which version, and precise physics are you using ? and hare you sure you define these functions and use the variables in the right environment (global definitions or local domain definitions. As a few of hem are "fields" (dependent on x,y,z,t) and need to be defined accordingly w.r.t the appropriate domains (or integrated over domains to give global variables values

Good luck

Hi

I am using AC/DC module to simulate the electric field and potential distribution over a high voltage composite insulator. when applying AC input voltage. I got the electric field distribution E (V/m) over the insulator. But electric field distribution around high voltage terminal only.

However, I have one problems:
1) In this model, I got uniform potential distribution(V) but non-uniform electric field distribution(V/m).
How to get uniform field distribution over the surface of the insulator and also see, if any parameter missing in the model.

size of the model is 17MB, how to attact to u.if any email contact.

Could anyone please help me.

Your help is much appreciated.
