[SOLVED] Preferences are not saved in Comsol 4.3a on Windows

1. I went to Options > Preferences > Graphics > Rendering, set it to "Software", because it often crashes with OpenGL on my machine.
2. It says "The program needs to be restarted for the changes to take effect".
3. Exited Comsol and launched it again.
4. Checked the Preferences, and it's back to "OpenGL".
Checked this a few times, same result every time.
Solution:
I renamed the file C:\Documents and Settings\MY_USERNAME\.comsol\v43a\comsol.prefs to something else. It started working then.
Documenting this in case someone else has a similar problem.
