Permanent Magnet simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello Everybody,

I have posted before and I am doing it again though I am little bit on the knowledgable side. I am trying to simulate a permanent magnet using the Br option in the Magnetic Field, No Current physics. I even given a proper Br value. I have 2 D rectangle and an air domain. Ideally, it should solve but the simulation is not converging. I have tried fining the mesh but still it doesn't work, Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,

Pankaj

Hi

how do you define your magnet ? (and you model you need to be a nbit more precise for us to undertzand) I usually use the Magnetisation and use hc as value (more or less valid for hard magnets with mu_r= 1 or there about and with a linear 2nd quadrant response (at lower temperatures way away from the Curie temperature ;)

Good luck
