Large Magnetic Force

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello

I'm modelling a simple E-shaped core made of iron and everything looks fine to me (!)
There is an air gap between the core and the armature to which the magnetic force is applied. The magnetic force produced is way higher than what I expect!

The relative permeability of Iron is 4000, right? I can get the correct force value for relative permeability of about 530!

Do you have any clue where might the problem be generated from? My mesh is fine enough, I believe!

Thanks
