Hi,

I am currently working on acoustic-shell interaction problem and I came across a following error: "Side operator evaluated on edge not adjacent to given boundary number". Could anyone explain me what it exactly means?

Thanks!

Dear Michael

The side operator picks up values on adjacent entities of a higher dimension, for example, if you are on an edge you can pick up values defined on boundaries adjacent to that edge. All operators are described in the documentation if you search for "Built-In Operators" it is a nice chapter to use as a reference.

If you think that the error is caused by Comsol then please send your model to support so that we can have a look at it and fix an issue if it exists.

Best regards
Mads
