GRI Mechanism 3.0

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear Sir / Madam

I need to model two counterflow burners for measuring the NOx formation in case of natural gas combustion. For this purpose I need to upload the entire GRI Mechanism of methane combustion which has around 33 species and more than 300 reactions. Is there any method to couple the GRI mechanism (for kinetics and thermodynamics properties) directly to COMSOL or do I have to type in each and every reaction?

Thanks,

Regards
Abhishek

Hi,
you should convert your entire mechanism in chemkin file format, and import chemkin file into comsol.
cheers
