Pointwise constraint in weak form

What is the meaning of the value of "Pointwise constraint" in Comsol? It is a strong, bidirectional constraint.
If the constraint expression is "-x+1", then is the value of the variable "x" equal to 1 in a Dirichlet boundary condition?
I cannot send the entire model because it is confidential.
Please help. Thanks!
