Import from SolidWorks

Hi,

I was following the tutorial for the cooling of an injection mold (www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyXhGKN3iX0), and I want to ask is there any way to import the curve for the cooling channels directly from SolidWorks. If not, what is the best way to make the curve like the one that I have on my original model of the mold.

Thanks,

Viktor

I think you need the "LiveLink for Solidworks" module, and when you click the Geometry > LiveLink Interfaces > LiveLink for SolidWorks, you can import the CAD geometry directly into COMSOL Multiphysics.

It's OK when you import a 3D model file, but what about when I want to import a 2D sketch file, like I mentioned before.

And something else, there is an error during the synchronization between Comsol and SolidWorks and I can't use the LiveLink feature.

Thanks,

Viktor
