Electromagnetic power loss in PML? -RF-Frequency Domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All,

In the model of Optical Cavity, we use RF-frequency domain, and we are finding the Quality factor (Q) by calculating the total energy by omega over the power loss. The PML is coated over the whole model. Since we cannot measure the power loss in PML, we cannot get the accurate total power loss.

We do not use emw.Qfactor as Q factor in our case.

Could I ask how to measure the power loss in PML?

Thank you very much
