Photonic crystal bandgap anaylisis

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello

I found an example on how to calculate the bandgaps of a photonic crystal here:

www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/12046/

The problem is that in the 4.3b version the Wave Optics module implement the Floquet conditions in a different way. So, I'd like to know if there is an example to use Floquet conditions with this module or an equivalent example for that version.

Thank you

Please check the following models in the model library for how to use Floquet conditions:

Wave Optics Module->Gratings and Metamaterials->negative refractive index
Wave Optics Module->Verification Models->fresnel equations
