How to evaluate Laminar static Mixer performance?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All,

I'm examine in depth the example laminar static mixer.
I want to evaluate the mixing performance in the axial direction, I find in literature that it can be evaluated by the coefficient of variation (CoV), the ratio between the standard deviation in composition and the mean composition (in my case it is 0.5)

Standard deviation = [Sum(xi-xm)^2]/(N-1) where N is the number of data points in the sample.
My final goal is to evaluate the CoV and to plot its value along the length of the mixer.

How can I evaluate the standard deviation?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
