gradient of a flux across a domain

Hello,
I want to look at the exchange of dye between three water droplets immersed in oil confined in 1D capillary (and the dye prefers oil medium than water). I want to focus at the change in flux across the boundaries of the middle drop so that I can use it to find the rate of change of concentration as dc/dt=dJ/dx where c is the concentration, J =( J_left - J_right) is the flux, t is the time and x is the distance over which the flux is changing. The model can be found at www.dropbox.com/s/5wusoclfxnzx0mh/3drops_diffusion.mph?n=73375195 (the file was big not to fit the allowed size)
