Forward and backward coupled PDEs?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

With Comsol 4.4 I want to solve two coupled PDEs. Time (t) goes from 0 to T:

Forward PDE, L1 is the PDE operator and initial u at t=0 is given:
L1(u)=w

Backward PDE, L2 is the PDE operator and final w at t=T is given:
L2(w)=u

I tried to transform the backward PDE to a forward one by changing the time variable, using t'=T-t but by doing this, u in the second PDE would start from u(T). So I think I need to reverse u or something, but I don't know how to do that. I appreciate your help!
