Other objects affecting my coil current

I've been having trouble with my model and went back to the basics to see what might be wrong with it. I found that I can solve for coil direction and get results with just the coil in my geometry. BUT when I add either the air domain or the iron ring that holds the coil (wp5) it makes my results look funny.

To see what I mean, I've attached the files working_coil.mph and will post not_working.mph in the comments. The problem is in Results>3D Plot Group 2.

If anyone has any idea why this is happening I'm all ears. I feel like I've tried everything.
