Eigenvalue prediction: Complex impedance

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm trying to predict the eigenvalues of a room for complex impedance boundary conditions. But COMSOL is giving me somewhat totally different from the analytic predictions. If I use a real value for impedance, then both analytic and COMSOL predictions are in harmony.

I don't understand what is the problem with complex valued impedance. Can anyone please suggest me any ideas to get rid of this problem?

Thanks,
Mehadi
