Swept Mesh

Hello All

I am trying to do a swept mesh. This is Y-shape microfluidic channel (3-D). It works fine for a velocity profile. However, for a concentration profile (in which I have a diffusion zone where the liquids merge) I don't get a smooth gradient. I can even notice the triangular mesh. What I'm doing is meshing the faces (inlet faces = sources) and sweeping the mesh over the entire length of the device. When I mesh these faces I can not get as many elements as I want. With a normal mesh I get about two elements and with extremely fine mesh I get few more triangles. Is there a ways to refine this "source" faces? Or get a better swept mesh at all? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

-Omar
