Moving Heat flux

I am trying to model heat propagation through a part during a solid state welding technique. I am using 2D transient Heat transfer and basically I have a cube of material and I want to have a moving heat flux across the top from left to right. I want my heat flux applied on an area that is about 0.02 inch wide and travel 6 inches across the top of my cube. Is there an example or function that will allow me to do this?
