out of memory

Dear all, I'm a new user in COMSOL 5.0. I'm trying to run the example in Batteries and Fuel Cell Module (sofc_unit_cell), but encountered the following problem:

Failed to find a solution for the initial parameter.
Segregated group 2

Out of memory during LU factorization.
In segregated group 2:
Returned solution is not converged.
- Feature: Stationary Solver (sol1/s1)

I'd like to see is it due to my computer's low memory? My computer is of 2GB.

Yes. You need more memory. It is cheap and worth every penny for COMSOL usage.

I am also getting same error. I think memory is the issue. I have 4GB still getting same error.

goto study>solver configuration>solution> *** solver>direct> out of core>check it and fill the info as per ur system configuration i think it can help u.
plzz give ur feedback.

Hi there.

The "out of core" advice is new for me. I've tried but without success.

I've a good laptop (i7, 16Gb), and I'm working already with a very coarse mesh.

Any suggestion in setting the "out of core" configuration?
